So to introduce Meta Quest to hoops culture, we turned one of basketball’s biggest generational debates into a mixed reality showdown where fans could play, watch, and vote for the real Melo.
We brought the debate courtside with halftime takeovers in arenas.
Then, fans picked a side through 2K inspired challenges and limited time rewards.
The argument finally got its answer inside Meta Quest, where Melo faced Melo in an exclusive mixed reality showdown.
And because a debate this big couldn’t stay inside a headset, fans joined on Twitch and social media.
