The SoHo Memory Project is a short documentary about SoHo’s transformation from an industrial artists’ district into today’s hub of fashion, retail, and tourism. Through the story of SoHo native Yukie Ohta and the living archive she created, the film asks what gets lost when a neighborhood changes.

The film has been featured on CUNY TV, and aired on BronxNet. It was also incorporated into ENG 1101 coursework at City Tech CUNY, where it helped students reflect on memory, place, and the evolution of their own neighborhoods.
